Master Farmer launch and CROPS token
Well it has certainly been a long and strange journey for us in involved the Master Farmer project. It started with a Russian coder working for two months, and being unable to use the decay token the Ukranian made, so we hired the Ukranian, Igor to redo the code and use his token which took another two months. We had two audits, and then when the project finally launched a couple of strange things happened, when Masterchef was deployed nobody could buy or sell tokens for a bit, and 14% of everyones tokens were decayed. Very strange and unfortunate, after all the months of work. And then the farm was live but stake with eth didnt work, so we had it taken down. So finally the farm seemed to be working fine, and basically was, CROPS token had a 2.5% transaction burn and tokens were minting at 1.5 tokens per block daily or 9,750 tokens. We just didn’t have decay. Which basically made it like a normal crypto farm. And the coders mother died and he had been too busy coding for us to see her, he left to her village and is still there, his friends have been covering for him. And then something very strange happened. We had locked 45eth into the LP with team finance and as the decay wasn’t working everyone just farmed and sold tokens. And then something very strange happened, nobody could sell tokens, and then, nobody can buy tokens, and what was the latest thing? Someone sold tokens and the price went up. Very very strange. So Igor’s friends are busy looking into the code and redoing it because it obviously has some very strange errors.
We can’t afford any errors so we will need extensive testing on the testnets before we launch CROPS 2.0 and send it out to the holders and presalers. We will have to do an LGE I have some ideas for that.
We are still very confused about what happened, we had professional audits and tested on testnet but, Igor was overworked…The thing we learned is not to rush complex things or you could face disaster.
We are looking forward to working code and a fantastic future after lots of testing.
